GapHOG's™ line of products was developed in response to the need of a Salt Lake City data center's Manager to conserve energy and increase cooling efficiency without having to invest a large sum of money in products and installation. That data center now offers 200-250 watts per square foot to clients in several rooms due to strategic design which included the use of GapHOG's™ products in flooring cutouts and under equipment units.
The self-conforming foam used in GapHOG's™ products simply expands into the area where it is inserted, keeping cooled air that would otherwise drop into access floor wire cutouts flowing toward server fronts.
GapHOG’s™ IglooBlokk™ and IceStripp™ are ideal for both standard and nonstandard spaces, as the foam can be significantly compressed from its original size to conform to nearly any opening in a data center. The IceStripp's™ unique uses under and around equipment units and cabinets keep AC from stagnating in spaces that don’t need to be cooled. Custom cutting is available upon request at no additional charge.
